Backyard Bougie didn't start because we wanted to make soap.

It started because after nearly 20 years in nursing, including years as a Certified Wound Care Nurse. I discovered something unexpected: creating skincare became my happy place. I fell in love with the science of formulation, the power of botanicals, and the idea that self-care could be both effective and fun.

Today, Backyard Bougie is growing into a modern botanical apothecary where luxurious skincare, handcrafted soaps, botanical creations, and laser-crafted goods all come together under one slightly sassy roof.

Every product is made with intention. We don't chase every trend or throw ingredients together because they sound fancy. We research, formulate, test, and create products we'd proudly use ourselves. (Because life's too short for mediocre skincare.)

Our laser-crafted décor and personalized gifts are created with that same philosophy, beautiful, unique, and made to bring a little personality into everyday life.
