Return & Refund Policy
At Backyard Bougie, every item is handcrafted with care and attention to quality. Because many of our products are personal or custom-made, returns and refunds are limited.
If you experience an issue with your order, please contact us — we want every customer to be happy with their purchase.
Bath & Body Products
For health and hygiene reasons, bath and body products (including soaps, lotions, scrubs, body butters, and similar items) are non-returnable and non-refundable once received.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery for review and resolution.
Candles
Each candle is hand-poured and inspected for quality before shipping. Because of their nature, used or burned candles cannot be returned or refunded.
If your candle arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We will replace or refund the item as appropriate.
Home Décor, Clothing, and Accessories
Items such as shirts, ornaments, door hangers, and other décor are eligible for return or exchange only if defective, damaged, or incorrect upon arrival.
Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order to begin the review process.
Custom & Personalized Orders
Custom work, including personalized shirts, ornaments, signage, and other made-to-order items, requires a 50% non-refundable deposit before production begins.
Once a final proof or design has been approved, no refunds, cancellations, or changes will be accepted.
Final payment is due prior to shipment or delivery.
If your custom item arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery for review.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed as store credit or to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.
Backyard Bougie reserves the right to deny refund or replacement requests that do not meet the conditions outlined above.
